I have recently moved to Tauranga and am enjoying putting my roots down in this beautiful coastal community. Being near the ocean and coastline is my favourite place to be. I love listening to all types of music especially in the car on a good road trip.

  • I am a registered Counsellor. Until recently I headed up the Counselling Department in a large Auckland High School. I have a passion for counselling  children and young people as well as adult clients.

    My therapeutic approach is very much client centred. I believe we all have the capability to heal and thrive, no matter what the life challenges. Within the counselling relationship I strive to facilitate each client’s unique healing journey.

    My most important  counselling asset is the desire to truly listen.

  • I incorporate a range of therapeutic approaches to best support each client, including: Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectic Behavioural Therapy, Interactive Drawing Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Breath Work and Mindfulness.

  • When you come to counselling with me, you can expect a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you feel safe to be yourself. I understand that starting counselling can feel like a big step, so I aim to make the process as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

    In our sessions, I will take the time to listen and understand what is important to you. We will work together at a pace that feels right, exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a way that supports your individual needs.

    I tailor my approach to each person, drawing on a range of therapeutic tools where helpful. At the centre of my work is building a trusting relationship, where you feel heard, respected, and supported as you move towards greater clarity, resilience, and wellbeing.
