Gorgan is a dedicated and passionate counsellor with a special focus on supporting teenagers and young adults. With nine years of experience, Gorgan has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals who are part of the geek culture or have an interest in gaming, anime, superheroes, boardgames or pop culture. Gorgan specialises in problematic gaming, anxiety, depression and coping skills.

As a full member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC) and a certified Geek Therapist and Problematic Gaming Specialist, Gorgan brings a unique blend of professional expertise and personal passion to therapy. Utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Gorgan tailors each session to the individual's needs, ensuring a personalized therapeutic experience. Additionally, Gorgan incorporates innovative techniques such as geek therapy, sandtray therapy and creative modalities like Interactive Drawing Therapy (IDT), adapting his approach to suit the unique requirements of his clients.

Gorgan's approach is culturally sensitive and person-centred, focusing on creating a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their experiences without judgment. This method helps clients integrate the skills and insights gained from their hobbies into their daily lives, enhancing self-confidence, social connections, and overall well-being.
