Dr Tiffany Brown
Clinical Psychologist
Tiffany is a registered Clinical Psychologist who works with individuals 13 and above to help them create meaningful, fulfilling lives through self-understanding and emotional healing. Tiffany utilises an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Schema Therapy to create individualised intervention plans.
Tiffany is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she utilises to assist her clients in overcoming trauma, anxiety, and emotional disturbances including advanced techniques for trauma processing. Tiffany has a background working in secondary level mental health services supporting the community and whānau with complex mental health conditions.
Tiffany's approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and empathetic, with a strong emphasis on collaboration. Her aim is to provide a safe, affirming space where clients can feel heard and understood while developing the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges. Tiffany offers her services to support clients for a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, identity, trauma, and self-esteem. Tiffany has special interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and women’s health (including perinatal mental health).
