Dr Tiffany Brown

Clinical Psychologist

Tiffany is a registered Clinical Psychologist who works with adolescents (16+) and adults. She prioritises building an affirmative and supportive therapeutic space. Tiffany has a background working in secondary-level mental health services and Kaupapa Māori mental health, supporting individuals and whānau with complex mental health conditions. Tiffany has a particular passion for working with women's health and members of the Rainbow community. Tiffany also provided clinical supervision. 

Tiffany’s approach to therapy is integrative, drawing on evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to create individualised intervention plans. 

 Tiffany has a specialist interest in working with the following communities and presentations:

  • The LGBTQIA+ community

  • Women’s Health (including maternal mental health, endometriosis)

  • Health Care professionals and First Responders

  • Cancer, and whānau supporting those with cancer

  • Trauma (i.e., PTSD, Complex Trauma / CPTSD)

  • Self-Esteem and Identity

  • Perfectionism

  • Anxiety

  • Depression
