Clinical PSYCHOLOGIST

Emma is a Clinical Psychologist in the final stages of completing a Doctor of Clinical Psychology. With her training in Clinical Psychology, Emma has acquired experience with clinical assessment and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Additionally, Emma has received training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA).

Emma has worked alongside clients of various age groups and diverse settings, such as brain injury rehabilitation, mental health, sexual health, chronic pain management, youth justice and correctional settings, and with children with Autism and their families. Emma also works as an affirmative therapist and is specialised in providing support to people within LGBTQIA+ communities, particularly those seeking access to gender affirming health care.

Emma prioritises building strong and collaborative relationships with her clients, creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters exploration and growth. With a deep commitment to empowering people, and to tailoring treatment plans to individual needs, Emma works alongside her clients to help them overcome challenges, enhance well-being, and achieve positive change.
